FAMILY DAY!

Congratulations to the OLLCS Parents Coordinating Board for the successful event it organized: "THE FAMILY DAY". The officers of the PCB headed by its active and energetic President Gigi Modesto, parents, teachers and students bonded together to celebrate the affair last December 15, 2007. A mass calisthenics, dance presentation, basketball and volleyball event were held. The students belonging to the different school organizations and their parents set up their booths to sell their respective products. It was such a success that many parents were already contemplating to bring in more goods and products for the next year's event. It was the first of its kind at OLLCS.


E.L. Amusement of Neneng Castillo was tapped by the PCB to undertake the Binggo Socials to raise fund for the intended covered pathwalk project of the PCB with the blessing of Father Albert N. Delvo, the School Director. Coca-Cola sponsored the booth, while Greenwich Pizza Zabarte also participated in the affair.

Undersecretary Robert T. Rivera, Undersecretary for Operations, Office of the Press Secretary, Office of the President and host of Pilipinas Ngayon Na!, a multi-awarded T.V. show aired at NBN-Channel 4 from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. every Saturdays, partly sponsored the video production to document the affair and launched it in You Tube. We would like also to thank Bishop Antonio R. Tobias of the Diocese of Novaliches for His unwavering support including Fr. Albert N. Delvo, Med Sanchez, the school Principal, and all the teachers who helped organized the affair. Finally the parents, students and pupils, in whose honor the event was dedicated.
